We stayed at a rental condo that was oceanfront during bike week '10. The unit was clean, comfortable, with new furnishings. The kitchen had ample supplies. The view each am from the deck was great. However, when we came back to the unit at 8:00pm, after being gone all day, we were surprised to find that some one had entered the unit, moved our belongings from the dresser top to the bed, taken down the drapes & rod, brought in a ladder, painting equipment and covered the dresser and floor with drop cloths. We contacted Atlantic Realty, they new nothing about any painting being done and could not answer how the person who had left the supplies got a key to get in. The next day the painter showed up to paint. Atlantic had not notified the painter/contractor that the unit was being rented. After several phone calls, Atlantic stated that the owners would give up a gift certificate for dinner out, for our inconvenience. Again there was another breakdown, the appointed restaurant did not have the gift certificate when we arived. However, the manager,Aaron, of the Black Pelican was very gracious and provided a delicious meal at no cost. So, the next am, I had to let Atlantic Realty know that they needed to take care of this. I would never use Atlantic Realty again. They could use a little customer service education from some one, such as staff at Black Pelican.We never did receive a concrete answer as to how the painter had a key to our unit.

 What a great vacation and Free activities!!! 10/29/2007

We had a fantastic vacation (as always) on the Outer Banks and Atlantic Realty made it even better this year. The cottage was clean and affordable for a last minute getaway. The Free Amenity package was a pleasant surprise and my family really enjoyed the go-kart rides and wild horse tour in Corolla. I'll remember my golf clubs next time and take advantage of the Free rounds of golf. We will definitely be back next year!!
