Really a Great Place!! 10/8/2007

All manner of seafood and prime rib cooked to perfection, consistently. We've been eating @ C-Ben's since 2000 and have NEVER been disappointed, lunch and/or dinner. My youngest son, a chef by trade, agrees with Dad, who introduced him to C-Ben's. He says it's a tossup between C-Bens on Ocracoke and the Quarterdeck in Frisco as to which is the best restaurant on 12 South. 'nuff said!
Horrible all around... 8/11/2007

We went for dinner, because, the lot was almost empty. The food literally had no flavor.. seafood / steak both were very bland. If you want great seafood in Ocracoke, go to Cafe Atlantic- excellant service and meals =)

we ate there last year for the first time and the food was great. If we drive to Ocracoke this year, we'll stop again.

Food was good, but it took a long time to get it....they only had one cook at lunchtime when we went.

I think this is my husband's favorite place to eat on the island. We usually eat scallops or the seafood platter. Talk about a lot of food! The Grandkids like it because it is neat the way they serve the soup from an old boat. The only down side is the coffee is not any good. I think it is instant.
