This summer will be our second trip to stay at the Cavalier for our vacation and we can't say enough nice stuff about it. It's clean, comfy and affordable. Great if you're traveling with kids. The best part is that it's close enough (and cheap enough) to sneak away to in the off season months for a great weekend away. Even when it's cold, nothing beats their oceanfront rooms.

Stayed here last year on our first trip to OBX. Traveling with pet limits choices, this was perfect. Booked again for this year, staying longer. Great location, very clean. Nice place to call home for a week.

Have stayed there twice. Both times were exceptionally nice. An older motel with a lot of personality, clean, great location, and super staff. Hope it's always there and not replaced by some huge home!!!!!

Clean, nice beach, nice staff, convenient to everything, best of all we bring our pets. Only drawback is that we can't stay oceanfront anymore since we bring our pets.

My husband and I started coming there when we first met 6 years ago. Since then it has been our "special place" whenever we need to get away. The facilities are down to earth with a lot of character. Clean rooms, friendly service and a beautiful location top it off. Prices are always reasonable. We can't say enough!!
