We eat at Diamond Shoals at least once during our weekly vacation and have found the food to be really good. Staff is very pleasant. Breakfast and dinner are great. Love the steak. Would recommend this place to anyone and will return again.

We've had breakfast here five or six times and we're never disappointed. I LOVE the spanish omelet and my husband usually get the crab omelet. They also have very good coffee. We've always wanted to try it for lunch or dinner (we have several of those 10% off coupons for dinner that you get with your breakfast), but haven't made it yet.

Enjoyed some really great seafood...red drum, scallops and clam chowder....but our wait was well over an hour. And no apologies for the long wait.

We ate here twice in our week stay and both times the service was slow, even though there was never a line and we were seated immediately. BUT it more than worth it when the food came. Excellent grub! Shrimp, scallops, fresh fish; fried or grilled/blackened, Everything we had was really good.

My mother and I went in due to the sushi sign out front. We both figured we'd try it out on our last full day in Hatteras. The hostess was sweet and genuine. Our waitress informed us that sushi wasn't normally on the lunch menu but would see if they could make some. She came back with the entire list. The owner made it even though it was lunch. We ordered sushi and our meal. The sushi was fresh and the rice was well cooked. My mother can be a bit of a sushi snob since she is from Japan. However, she was really impressed with the rolls we received. She was raving about it. My quesadilla was really, really good. The service was wonderful- the best we had on our trip. It's no wonder people crowd in for breakfast. We will definitely be back for the food and Mr. Wiggles!

Western Omelete with no ham,a glob of cheese in the middle uncooked veggies.Cheap brown and serve sausage links and limp uncooked bacon.Waitresses with no clue and hard to get their attettention coffee that was weak as rainwater. Its a good thing that only Fishermen and Surfers eat there or they would have no bussiness.
