I go to the place every time I come to the beach. Amazing place! I never usually eat an entree, but apetizers, desserts and drinks! Try creme brulee, it is the best I have ever tasted! And do not miss Friday night entertainment in season! You will love it!

What a night out! 8/10/2011

We called to make reservations for 7:45 or so and were told that they could not accommodate our group until 8:30 or later. The person on the phone told us about music outside and we decided to arrive at our leisure and enjoy a drink to wait for our table. Glad we did! It was so relaxing and the musician was good an entertaining! We were told it may take a little longer for our table, so we ordered some small plates outside and the whole experience was great! Once inside, we ordered some entrees off the menu and specials, all of which were creative and good. Our waiter was efficient and pleasant, and the atmosphere was great! We saw it go from very crowded (inside and out) to almost empty, with a small bar crowd and the place just felt right the whole time. This may be our new OBX go-to dining spot!

loyal repeat customers since 2006 who have been sadly disappointed in the food offered at ocean blvd for two consecutive years. we were so shocked at the food last year, we gave it another try. BAD idea. the food was mediocre at best with under cooked rice and bland butter beans in every one of the 6 entrees ordered. service was sub par and entrees were not described in menu. the offer of free dessert was turned down. it really wasn't worth trying to eat anything else there.

Top Notch! 4/1/2011

If you want fine dinning at it's best, this is where you want to eat. I have to refrain from over eating and drinking martinis. Wish they had better eating facilities up stairs so one could enjoy the view of the ocean. Keep up the good menu and service ... "I'll be back"!

Unique on the Outer Banks 10/5/2010

Ocean Boulevard does the upscale casual thing perfectly. The atmosphere is sparse and modern - it used to be a hardware store - but the food is excellent. Chef Donny and his wife own the place, so you know it is a labor of love. My latest obsession is the OB Mac and Cheese. We're talking real sauce bechamel with cheese and pasta, plus bacon. Oh god. And everything is good, they also have all sorts of martinis, for those who like that sort of thing. Live music on the patio evenings in season, and late night inside. Highly recommended!

Not what it used to be..... 8/21/2007

We used to eat here often in previous years but now it does not seem to be what it used to be.......They do not want to accomodate parties of 2, I guess they feel they will not spend enough......
We requested a booth and they would not give it to us, they said they were holding them for parties of 4.....The whole time we were there, no one was seated at these tables!! No apology, just the manager saying "if you don't like it, too bad!" The food was okay, except it didn't include everything it was supposed to....
