Ingredients List

Brown Sugar Amaretto Chess Pie

2 Tbsp flour
2 eggs
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/4 C milk
1/4 C Amaretto
4 Tbsp butter-softened
1 Tsp vanilla
1 9" unbaked pie crust

Preparation Instructions

Combine flour, eggs and sugars. Blend in liquids, butter and vanilla. Pour into pie shell and bake at 375 for 35-45 minutes or until knife comes out clean. (the butter will look like little globbies when you mix it up with the rest of the ingredients....but that's ok....it will melt in when it cooks) This pie is very rich....but oh so good. I've tried adding pecans to the mix and it comes out good, but plain is best. You can serve it with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I always double the recipe and make 2 pies...1 never lasts very long....lol
