bacon for wrapping
toothpicks or skewers
peel shrimp. leave tails on. wrap just enuf bacon to fit around shrimp & secure with a toothpick from tail to top. (or put several shrimp on a wooden skewer, securing bacon, thusly)
grill over medium heat til bacon is cooked thru but not too crisp or burned, turning as nedded. add just a touch of BBQ sauce on top side of shrimp while finishing cooking.
no real history. great for quick bites on the beach grill or as the main dish at a meal on the grill at home.
