Ingredients List

2 packages vanilla flavored instant pudding
4 cups milk
1 container nondairy whipped topping
1 box miniature chocolate chip cookies
2 cups vanilla wafer cookie crumbs, divided
optional-- shell shaped candies/ miniature beach umbrellas

Preparation Instructions

You need a new, never used beach bucket- serve sand cake with the plastic shovel.
Prepare pudding using the 4 cups milk, according to package directions. Using rubber scraper, fold in whipped topping, then fold in chocolate chip cookies.
Spoon half of the pudding mixture into the clean beach bucket. Sprinkle half of the vanilla cookie crumbs. Repeat layers. End with sprinkling rest of vanilla wafer cookie crumbs on top(looks like sand). Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours to soften cookies. Can make & refrigerate overnight. Can decorate top with candy shells / beach umbrella.

I make this easy dessert for my boys' birthday parties, pool parties, and always while vacationing at the beach!! It's a hit with the kids and adults like it too. You can also make it using sugar free pudding, skim milk, low fat Cool Whip, and low fat vanilla wafers.
