They advertised as having cocktail making supplies and gear. I stopped in looking for a jar of marachino cherries for my manhathans knowing that some suppliers carry a better grade than those found in the grocery stores, particulary the Luxardo brand. I was told that they would certaily notcarry such a "common" item. Well. I hauled my common ass right on out of there.
Rating: Great Food
My friends and I stopped here for a quick lunch after our "mom's only" kayak tour last summer (2012). Our sandwiches were excellent and the desserts are AMAZING! The service is great, and the staff is very sweet. They also offer a variety of delicious dip mixes for purchase or you can buy some already prepared from the deli case.
Rating: Great service!
We have never eaten lunch here, but love to buy our meat and cheese here. The ladies that work here are top notch.
We had the pleasure of grabbing a quick lunch at Bacchus the first week of June 2011. Our sandwiches were delicious and the staff was very friendly.
Rating: Great Lunch Meats and Cheese
They use Thumann's Lunch Meats which contain no Nitrates, Nitrites, Gluten, MSG... I had the Turkey/Brie on Whole Wheat. The bread was nice and fresh, I really enjoyed my sandwich. The owners are very helpful and friendly.
Rating: Great Deli!
I've been going to Bacchus for years, I believe since the year they opened and have never been dissapointed. It's a relief to have a place to get lunch meat that tastes great, Food Lion just doesn't cut it when it comes to lunch meat! Their sandwiches are also great and make a perfect addition to the picnic basket for the beach.
Rating: Great sandwiches
They make excellent sandwiches for take out.
Rating: Great atmosphere!
A nice little out of the way joint that has some nice bands on weekends. Friendly staff too.
Rating: Nice spot
We've been here a couple of times to pick up things for hors d oeuvres. They have some terrific dips and nice specialty items! The cheeses and cold cuts are good.
Rating: Bacchus was a Godsend
When Bacchus opened in the Monteray Shores Plaza in the early 90's we were sooooooo pleased. Finally we had a place to get decent cheeses and cold cuts. They also had a great selection of vino but way overpriced in my opinion. You could also get great sandwiches to take out. Later they expanded and added tables so you could eat their deli sandwiches inside the store. They also have a nice selection of gourmet spices, crackers, sauces, olives, etc for that special dinner. If you stay up in the Corolla area it is worth checking out.
