Able to seat our large party quickly. Most had seafood which was fresh and delicious, including flounder, oysters, steamed shrimp and crab cake. Will go back again.

Ate here on June 16, 2011 for our 10th anniversary dinner. Wife had the scallops which were lightly breaded. She let me try one, there were at least a dozen on the plate and they were huge, they were sweet and tender and made me wish I had ordered them. I however ordered the seafood platter which was equally as large with scallops, shrimp fish and crab cake. It was also delicious. You cant go wrong eating here.

Arrived just after 5:00, served quickly. Place was packed by 6:00. Fish bites appetizer, flounder, hot beef sandwich, chicken...everything was very good and price was decent. Wait staff very attentive and HAPPY. I love happy servers! Highly recommend..

Had broiled flounder and it was the best fish I have had in years. My wife had the flounder sandwich and said it was freat too.

The Sandbar has some really great entrees but once in awhile, the meal is a dud, or the bun is dry, they are just not consistent.
I still give them four stars since most of the time, they are great. They also have some great selections.

I ate there three times the week I was in Buxton and I had Ribs and fried shrimp each time!They were awesome!Ambiance was terrific as was the service.Cant wait to get back.The pizza was good also but very $$$.14 bucks for a small pizza?

We ate lunch here and the food was good and the sever did a great job and was very friendly. Next time we go to the OBX we'll stop for dinner. Nice view too.

Ate dinner at the Sandbar last month and the Seafood Alfredo was awesome! Well worth a trip! The tuna and the chicken quesadillas were also a hit with my family.

Have not been down for a few years but they used to have a Seafood Alfredo that was out ot htis world! Everyone I took to the Banks with me had to go there to try it and they are still raving about it!

Never had a bad meal yet,repeat customer.Carolina pulled pork sandwich the real thing.Soft shell crab wrap worth trying,with the potato wedges!!
