We've been spending one or two nights here before checking into our rental houses for the last couple years - great location and a wonderful pool!

We stayed 2 nights this past weekend and loved it. Very nice people to do business with and they gave us a rate much lower than the internet listed price. It's an older place, but has been well cared for. If you are looking for luxury this may not be the place for you. But if you are looking for comfortable, clean and affordable... you can't go wrong here!
Loved it! 10/26/2009

This was the first time I stayed at the Sea Foam. What a classic beach motel! I felt as though I was a kid on vacation with my parents back in the 50's. Older motel, but well kept. Clean. Kind of shabby-chic. I loved the screen doors! Wonderful public areas around pool and ocean front. Friendly, helpful staff. Great off season value. I'll definitely stay there again.
This place is classic! 5/25/2007

I love the Sea Foam and have stayed several times. It's very clean and reasonably priced. And, you can't beat listening to the ocean all night long!

Found this place, just passing by The color caught my eye, SeaFoam Green for sure :) Rooms are rustic yet clean and comfy. The ocean sounds great on the 2nd floor with the door open, havent slept that great in years!Wish we could of stayed longer but ONLY had one night. Stayed mid April 2005 and its very quiet this time of year. Planning a 3 night trip for 2006!!!! LOVE THIS PLACE< WILL COME BACK EVERY YEAR!!

Old ,wood screen doors, retro tiled baths, clean rooms and efficiencies, rooms open right onto the beach. no long walks through dunes to get to the beach, you are on the beach already,- just like the Sea Oatel, Owens and John Yancey. Open you windows and listen to the breakers all night. Great for families. We have more fun at the Sea Foam than we do at the newest condos. The efficiencies are out dated and they do not have suites, washers , dryers, - phones but you will not feel like your missing anything if you stay in an ocean. If you are willing to settle for a room without and ocean front view then stay somewhere else where you can gcreature comforts . Very Fine Destination
Now this is a real beach motel! 11/17/2003

This is your typical older beach motel. Kinda worn down but clean and right on the beach -- the kind we love. We usually stay here on our first Friday night on the Outer Banks before going to our rental on Saturday on Hatteras Island. The prices are fair and the people are nice. And it will let you stay for just one weekend night in September. Lots of places have a two-day minimum on weekends. We stayed in a really nice suite the one year. Ask for the room over the garage!
