Smokey's Restaurant - Corolla, Outer Banks Restaurant
Smokey's is truly a Corolla Original... first opening its doors on the Outer Banks in 1991. While the menu features Southern fare such as hushpuppies, fried chicken, North Carolina pork bbq, barbecued country style ribs, Smokey's has also become a popular vacation destination for its seafood menu including fresh yellowfin tuna, homemade crabcakes, fried and steamed shrimp and fried clams.

New to the menu in 2002, Smokey's added barbecued baby back ribs, certain to please rib lovers! Appetizers include buffalo wings, cheese stuffed jalapeno peppers and of course Smokey's famous "Corolla Burst" a super colossal fried blooming onion. A children's menu is also offered. Smokey's is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with a full ABC license and can accommodate large groups. Come join us for a truly delightful dining experience and see why our patrons come back again and again!

Smokey's entire menu is available for take-out!

Awful 6/30/2011

This is the most hideous excuse for a restaurant. Everything was fried, and the seafood was limited. My family members ate the bbq and it ranked well below average. I had the steamed shrimp and it needed to be heated up...special seasonings?? It was definitely Old Bay! The sweet potato sticks were nasty and overall, I felt like I needed a shower after eating here.

Enjoyed the fried chicken and BBQ platter. Really enjoyed the fried puffs -- that's all our toddler would eat. Reasonably priced and quick service.
