We always have a great experience with SSR. They are fast to respond to even the smallest complaint and they are always kind. Their homes are clean and well kept. Always a great vacation for our 3 families.

WE USED SSR FOR OUR 2009 COROLLA VACATION. OUR VACATION EXPERIENCE WAS VANTASTIC AND THE HOUSE WAS EVERY THING AND MOR THAT WE EXPECTED. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS WHEN WE ARRIVED EARLY WE COULD NOT GET THE KEY UNTIL 4pm. WHICH LEFT US STUCK IN TRAFFIC FOR 2 HOURS. 1 OR 2 MORE OFFICE LOCATIONS WOULD BE NICE.

I have stayed in numerous houses over the last 19 years in the Outer Banks. My family and friends have rented with many rental companies. Southern Shores is the best rental company on the beach. Their houses are clean, the respond quickly to any problems, and their brochures tells you every thing you need to know about your rental home. They are terrific. We now only rent in Southern Shores. Best value also with their rentals and top quality of homes. What more could you ask for.

We rented various houses from Southern Shores for 17 years. Never had a problem with the Realty company. If there was a problem at the house, they were there in a flash to fix it. They impressed us so much that when we built or beach house in Southern Shores there was no question as to whom we wanted to manage our rental.

We have rented through Southern Shores the past 5 years. We have been very happy with their service. If you arrive early and your house is clean they let you in without question. They have also been great avout responding to calls about broken items. We had a washing machine break at one house and they replaced it with a new on the same day. They also have a great selection of homes.

We have only used this realty once to rent a home in Southern Shores. They were professional and very cordial while making the reservation. We arrived after hours and had no problem receiving our keys for our rental. The only thing negative I can say is that the home that we rented while lovely was not well-maintained. It was a bit of a disappointment having to clean before enjoying our vacation. This was not only the opinion of ourselves, but also from others who have stayed at this particular house previous to us. I hope that has since been rectified and was not the usual. They were also prompt when we had to call to fix a broken lock on a sliding glass door.

We're rented through SSR every year, so I admitedly don't have a comparison. But we've had very few problems, and those were fixed quickly.
Never had a problem getting into our home early.
