 excellent pizza & subs 11/1/2010

we recently ordered from the yellow submarine on our first night in the obx. Since we had 20+ to feed we ordered several specialty pizza's, salads and a few foot long subs. Everything was excellent, the service and the food.

Usually our first Saturday night dinner. Always good crisp crust on pizza. Broad selection of subs to choose from. Never tried the delivery but they never missed a pick up time. Food has been hot and fresh.

Yellow Submarine is always our first night meal. We order pizza, subs, salads, etc and everyone is always happy - particularly since they bring it to our front door!

Went there for lunch - used the bathroom and it was so disgusting smelling from the moment we opened the door. Don't think it'd been cleaned in weeks. Truly nasty. The pizza was O.K., the service deplorable. They got our order wrong and when I told them so, no apology or anything, just a curse word flying from the waitress' lips (in front of my 8 year old daughter, too). Service was slow too. I will NEVER go back.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with our individual 8" pizzas from Yellow Submarine.
We like different toppings and we both thought ours was great!

We ate here on Sunday,Oct 29,06-Cheeseburge was excellent and my husband enjoyed his regular burger. My son got the 6 inch pep. Pizza and loved it. But we were the only ones there?? Cant understand why!

We always get pizza delivery from Yellow Submarine on our first night (never ate there, nor had any of their subs). Pizza is ok, good red sauce and crust and they don't skimp on toppings. Also, delivery times are pretty reasonable (especially on Saturday evenings!)

My main impression is this was better than I thought it would be. Food was solid. I had a cheesesteak that was very satisfying to me, but I'm not a purist. Kids liked the pizza and my oldest daughter highly approved of the over-the-top amount of cheese on the nachos.

Good subs and such, but fount the food to be better at Hotdogger's Surf N Cafe on 158 in Currituck. Great deli sandwiches, outstanding dogs, and wonderful hamburgers

We were driving around looking for a place to eat one evening and couldn't decide where to go. We were starving and saw the Yellow Submarine. The chicken sub was great and my husband said his Philly steak Sub was good too!

There Philly cheese steaks are pretty good for the south, good bread! Pizza is nothing specail but there great for thier delivery on the first afternoon you get there while your unpacking and haven't been to the grocery store yet!
