Tide Arch Beach Access Corolla

Can anyone provide any info/photos on this area? Is it busy? Difficult to access beach? I think we've finally find a rental, but have some members with mobility issues so that's always a concern. Thanks!

Most of Corolla's beach accesses consist of stairs over the dunes that can be a bit tough for folks with mobility issues - they can be a bit steep.

If you rent a home on the currituck club, they do offer assistance getting on and off the beach for folks with mobility issues at the currituck county southern public access, via 4wheeler manned by currituck club employees. they're stationed where the trolley drops folks off.
Further north in corolla, the corolla lighthouse access has handicap parking, a bathhouse, and a large wheelchair accessible ramp onto the beach.

Corolla Light is also a potential option - their access is private but has a large oceanfront complex with bathhouses, ramps, and an oceanfront pool for folks staying in that community.

If you look at the image, you have access on the street to the dune, and a sand path if you walk behind the house that leads directly to the stairs that go over the dune. It would be wiser to take the street path if there are mobility issues but you would still need to hurdle the staircase, which if I recall, that particular staircase is pretty steep with a lot of stairs (my house is right down the street).
Is it crowded? If you are comparing it to the Jersey Shore or Ocean City, then not at all. But the beaches can get somewhat crowded in the summer months, not walking all over people, but a decent amount. Streets are not crowded with cars at all, just minimal pedestrian traffic.

As was pointed out, if mobility issues, the sure fire way not to have an issue is rent in Currituck Club. They will shuttle you over and they have folks that will lug your stuff and over the dunes if you are a guest, and they work for a small tip!!!!!!!!!! i.e, if you are not a guest but TIP they will make it happen for you.
