RE: Greetings

Hey Bob, I've been pretty busy dodging the fuzz while driving recklessly, eating a pork roll sandwich with mustard, while watching my Bigfoot GPS scanner mounted in my blue Prius. Was headed to Ocracoke to score some Turkey Hill ice cream when I bumped into a local lawyer and he invited me to a crab cake dinner at The Captains Table. I met the Captains Table's new owners and they suggested I get my Turkey Hill Ice Cream at the recently opened Red& White in Hatteras Village. I purchased my Turkey Hill ice cream and placed an order for 35 pounds of Taylors Pork Roll. I drove down to the Ocracoke Passenger ferry before realizing I had spent most of my money on the Taylor Pork Roll order and didn't have enough fare money for me and my four yellow labs so I got in the free car ferry line to wait. While waiting, some guy wearing a wife beater and a plastic bag on his hand turned his blue eyed Rhodesian Ridgeback hound loose on the septic drain field area and my labs jumped out the windows of the Prius thinking it was playtime. While our dogs frolicked on the drain field, the guy in the wife beater explained he was from Ohio and had been coming down to the OBX for ten years and never followed the same route. He went into great detail as to which route had the cheapest gas or the least tolls and after thirty minutes and knocking down two warm IPAs from Bold City Brewery I escaped to the bathroom. From the bathroom I heard and felt the ferry bump into position and ran to my car calling my obedient dogs to join me. Got loaded next to the exhaust area on the ferry and discovered it was the one ferry that drove backwards all the way to Ocracoke. Just before losing my IPA's, I dashed from the vehicle and entered the passenger lounge and squeezed into a seat surrounded by four sisters from New Jersey that were discussing how much butter to put in tonight's Butter Roast. It was a long crossing but I couldn't wait to select a campsite, setup my mountain tent and clear the area of rattlesnakes. Tomorrow I am meeting a Realtor(Trademark) and going to look at investment homes and condos.......will let you know if I find any with a hot tub up to your high standards. Best wishes to you, Lowtide. Banana

Pure, unequivocal message board gold. Star
You win the Internet, and I bow to your presence.
If I may suggest...did you go to Shelly Island and use braid at the point?

Oh. My. God.

And here I was about to wax poetic about having to attend college in my 50s to get certified in my career of 16+ years!!

Well Done Lowtide! Belly laughs for all...

First off...... Simply Superb! Secondly, since we are both from Suffolk I wish I would have known. You could have stopped by and I would have let you use my Tunnel Permit to get from Hatteras to Ocracoke. Beer Beer Beer
