Overnight Parking in Nags Head?

Overnight Parking in Nags Head?

Hi all! I have a rental in Nags Head August 19-26. We unfortunately need to take more cars than our rental has parking spaces for (guests are coming from different locations/different times, so carpooling in fewer cars is difficult).

Are there any places we can safely, legally park extra cars overnight? We will have one, maybe 2 cars we need to find spaces for. Thanks!

*Update: Already contacted rental agency, but they did not have any alternate parking options available.

Start by checking with your rental Co. ( PM ) They may have space.

I should have mentioned we already checked with our rental agency and they didn't have any alternate parking options for us.

Nags head self storage offers weekly spaces for rvs or cars for $40/week according to their website.

If you are anywhere near Village Realty's Nags Head location, I can work it out for you to park in our lot. Milepost 14 across from Outback.

Most Walmarts allow RVs to park overnight in their lots, for free. I would contact them or other retailers that have large lots, such as Lowes or Home Depot. I bet some would not mind if you used their lot, particularly if you spend some money in their store.

Overnight parking is NOT allowed in the Kitty Hawk Walmart parking lot. I thought it was their policy to allow it. Don't know why this one is different.

Probably because it would look like a trailer park in-season of vacationers, seasonal employees, etc. living out of trailers and taking up all the spaces.

Overnight RV parking at Walmart is prohibited in my 'hood by zoning restrictions. Occasionally you will see one there...I don't think it is strictly enforced.
