Rating: AWESOME RIDE!!!
My sister and i came down to OBX and one of the things we did was Bob's Offroad Wild Horse Adventure Tour. I had my cam with me and taped almost the whole talk one of the guides gave about the history of the mustangs. When i got home, someone stole my movie cam with the tape of my trip in it. That tape can never be replaced! But i will always have the pictures in my memories. I want to bring my hubby down there this year, when we can, to see the mustangs and all the beautiful scenery.
I marked this a 5 star rating but the 3 star came up. Ignore the 3 star rating! This is 5 star all the way!
Had a fabulous time and saw lots of horses. Went on a Monday in the Suburban with 7 people, all ages. Nick was our guide and he was fabulous. Born and bred on the OBX and very knowledgeable. Tip him well. He'll be leaving soon so try to get him before he leaves. He also gave us suggestions for places to eat and they were all marvelous. The ride can be wild! Like a roller coaster at times. The history of the horses is fascinating and their dwindling numbers worrisome. This is something that should not be missed during your trip to the OBX.
