Corolla's Oldest & Most Respected Off Road Adventure Company! Now Open Year Round!
Our guided tour takes you into such areas as the Wild Horse Sanctuary set aside and dedicated for the purpose of habitat enhancement. The horses use the conservation area as it was intended, for their protection, but are frequently seen along the beaches and frolicking in the surf as well. Your guide will tell you about the horses and their history along with some of the colorful local lore and tall tales as well. Unscheduled sightings of many other species of wildlife can and do occur unexpectedly so be prepared to take pictures.

Rating: GREAT thing to do for all ages
We took the tour with Rick and it was AMAZING! He was a personable tour guide who led a great tour! We saw loads of horses on the beach and around the back roads of the village. We were able to take pictures of the horses and of some gorgeous scenery you'd never be able to see otherwise. I'd recommend this tour to anyone - I would do it again!
Rating: Great Tour For The Whole Family
Our group of 8 took the tour this morning and everyone had a great time. The owner, Jay is a great guy and was a wealth of information about the Outer Banks and the 4WD area. Our guide was a lot of fun and really knew how to drive on the beaches. We saw dozens of horses and learned a lot about the history of the area. The kids really enjoyed the tour and everyone left happy. I highly recommend Corolla Outback Adventures for any group looking to do something fun and different.
Rating: Past and Future
My husband and I went on the ATV tour about 5 years ago and greatly enjoyed the beauty seen on the tour and the knowledge of the guide. We are returning this summer and hope to take the tour again.
Rating: Excellent guide and view of the Outer Banks
It is a great tour. A bit expensive but worth it. We had Cameron as a guide and he told, showed and pointed out things we never knew about the Outer Banks. He's a native also so knows what he's talking about. Saw wild horses up in Carova Beach. You get a different perspective of the area on a tour like this.
