Ingredients List
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped (or 1/8 tsp. minced garlic)
1 TB cooking oil
Sauce:
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 (8oz) can of tomato sauce
1 TB soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2 TB lemon juice
Preparation Instructions
Combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion and garlic in bowl; mix well. Shape into 1/2 inch balls. Brown in oil in skillet. Drain meatballs on paper towel; Reserve pan drippings. Add remaining ingredients to reserved pan drippings, mixing well. Simmer for 20 mins. Return meatballs to the pan.
Can be served as an appetizer or serve over rice as a main meal.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
