Ingredients List
10 cups unpealed squash (grind to measure 10 cups)
4 cups chopped onions
5Tlb salt
Cover the above ingrediants with water and let stand overnight
___
Drain off the water and rinse well
Squeeze out as much water as possible
___
Add
2 1/2 Cups
Vinegar
4 Cups Sugar
2 1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 1/2 tumeric
2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2Tlb cornstarch
____
grind
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 hot pepper(opt)
Preparation Instructions
Heat to boiling point then boil for 35 min. Pack and seal
makes 6-7 pints
