Ingredients List
1 C dry white wine
2 Tbl olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
1/2- 1 tsp leaf basil, crumbled
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed (optional {i like garlic})
2 lbs. raw shrimp, peeled & deveined
1/2 stick butter
quantity serves 4-6.
Preparation Instructions
Combine wine, oil, s&p & basil in a good sized bowl. Add shrimp. Marinate 4 hrs. in frig.
Drain fish. Reserve marinade.
Thread shrimp onto skewers. Brush with reserved marinade.
Grill (or broil), turning & basting once. ~ 10 minutes.
Bring remaining marinade to a boil in sml saucepan. Swirl in butter. Serve sauce with fish skewers.

you can also use 1 lb shrimp & 1 lb of skinned, filleted, salmon (cut into ~ 1X1 1/2" pieces), alternating the fish on skewers.
This is family's favorite grilled shrimp when we are not having the steamed spiced variety.
