1 lb hot sausage
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped jalapeno peppers
salt and pepper to taste
3 oz soft cream cheese
2 tubes cresent rolls
Brown sausage, add onions, and jalapenos cook until sausage is done and veggies are tender, add salt and pepper to taste. Drain well. Mix warm sausage with cheese till well combined. Break apart all the cresent rolls. Place 1 TBS of sausage mixture on each roll, enclose sausage mixture completely enveloping it. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes until golden brown. Makes 16 puffs.
I got this out of a magazine years ago it is great. If you don't want it so hot use regular sausage and green chilis instead of the jalapenos. I ussually make a batch of each when I make these.
