Have celebrated a birthday there in June for the last three years and have never been disappointed. Not sure that we have a favorite menu item as we have enjoyed everything we've ever had. Yes, a bit noisy, but that is to be expected anytime a place is crowded as it can sometimes be. At least there is a sound side deck one can enjoy while waiting for a seat or even as an after dinner place to chill and let the meal digest. Staff is always friendly, food is great and service is good.

Hatteras Sol dining is a great choice for a nice harbor water view and delicious food. They have two bars, one outside which provides a beautiful sunset view. Good appetizers and key lime pie too. I really enjoyed their take on Shrimp and Grits with cheesy fried grit cakes and a fusion of Little Italy marinara & New Orleans spicy sauce, finished with Applewood bacon and scallions. Give them a try for an enjoyable meal.

Just found out about this place this year from OBX form. Loved the food, prices were reasonable. It does get a bit noisy when crowded, but it is one of our go-to places.

Have been a customer for about a year. So far in all of the meals there we have never been disappointed on anything from seafood to pasta dishes.

Excellent food, some unique creations. I have eaten at Sol at least 25 times since August 2013 and the only negatives are when the sell out of something.

There is seating both inside and outside. The space is small so it can get crowded when busy. They sell an interesting selection of beer. They accept phone orders, they also do take out. They usually post daily specials on their Facebook page. They sell desserts made by Scratchmade Snackery.
