YUM! 9/30/2015

Setting was perfect... like a little old Italian restaurant that had been there for years... dark and romantic. The hostess and servers were warm and welcoming. Service was very good. The food was excellent in quality as well as quantity. Wine prices are reasonable, mixed drinks a bit pricey. Our party of four were all extremely satisfied with the entire experience.

Bellisimo! 9/11/2014

Very authentic Italian using old family recipes. Very small place and there is often a wait. Go early to get seated quickly. I am Italian and I find the food to be fantastic. Have eaten there several times and loved everything I have had. Service is excellent too. A little bit unknown because they don't try to draw tourists in. A great experience if you love Italian food!

Cozy dining 7/17/2013

A cozy setting that can be a great dinner. My past two experiences were good and better. Has to wait at the bar the first time and got right in the second. Food was well prepared and authentic style Italian. The setting could use a little sound dampening. It can get a little loud in the dining room. I will go back.

Finally good Italian again 5/7/2013

After many years without an Italian restaurant on the Outer Banks we have a good one again. Limited seating and a limited menu provide a great setting for personal attention to guests and food (though often a long wait to be seated). Very well executed. The staff is friendly and on top of their service without being intrusive. The food is very good and as authentic as I've had outside of Little Italy in NYC (my entree didn't stick to my pasta side either, which is a good thing). Definetely a go to place.

Awful Food, Nice Bartender 2/27/2013

The gum chewing bartender greeted us immediately and got us a drink. After looking at a tiny menu we made the choice spicy mussels with side of spaghetti and me the blue cheese wedge with the fried ravioli's....spicy mussels like water didn't even stick to the spaghetti, blue cheese wedge, dressing watery, fried ravioli dry and tasteless...I am a local and I wouldn't recommend you

Big portions, low prices and it is authentic. Good wine prices as well. Pasta al forno is my personal fave but I enjoyed everything I've eaten there. The place is small. Do not plan on going there with your vacationing party of 20 people. It won't work!!
