Stopped in to see Linda and had two wonderful dinners. I had the Fish Tacos (flounder) and way wife had the Fried Shrimp Boat with some delicious sautéed green beans! We’re never disappointed here. Brought a piece of Cheesecake back to the condo for dessert.

We stopped at Steamers on Tuesday night after a great day at the beach. Great seeing Linda again - we love the new location. Clam Chowder and Shrimp Bisque were excellent. Two had the Wanchese Shrimp Boats, my brother had the Crabcake and I had the Fish Tacos - all were delicious. We also bought a Cheesecake to take home - good for many excellent desserts!

Steamers has taken over the space formerly held by Meridian 42. We ate there Monday night and the food was excellent - very nice nautical décor as well.
My wife had the Fried Shrimp, I had the Mahi Tacos and my brother and his wife both had the Carolina Flounder - we all enjoyed our meals immensely! The fried food was very lightly fried - not at all greasy. Linda's crew does a great job with the food and service and it was nice to see Linda as well!

We always have takeout from Steamers several times over the course of two weeks. Our two weeks in September 2012 were no exception. Great steamed shrimp, salads, fresh fish entrees and the best cheesecake you'll find anywhere.

We love Steamers. The food is great, and I don't think the prices are out of line at all. Excellent customer service too, it's a must on every trip.

We treated our kids to a nice little seafood lunch out on the patio at Steamers in June 2011. The food was great, and we had a nice time sitting outside with the kids. Definetly something we will do again.

It sounded like a great idea to us especially for the first night. However, I think it's overpriced for what you get. Also, we found that this option is offered at many places and for better prices. It felt like a "rookie mistake."

We much preferred the little seafood shop outside the Currituck Club. The seafood is very fresh and they will prepare it for you if you'd like. The steamed shrimp were awesome...I couldn't stop eating them.

This place isn't cheap but it's a worthwhile splurge. The spiced shrimp are incredible, as was everything else we tried. Carry out only, but you can eat out on their deck next to the Timbuck II paddleboats.

The greatest takeout on the OBX. We had the steamed shrimp, steamed clams, Ceasar Salad, ribs and chicken combo and vegetarian lasagne - all were outstanding.

Ordered here our last night and it was better than most restuarants. Ordered spiced shrimp and crab legs. The pots came with potatoes and corn add water and cook. The shrimp were great can't wait to have them again. Delivery would have been a good touch. Yeah we were being lazy that night.
