I found this magazine when moving things to paint a room today. I saved it as it has my uncle in it. The author of the article was a friend of the family growing up on Long Island. He traveled to many places and wrote about boating and fishing mostly. I was also in a few of his works when I was younger (much younger) including an ad for Boston Whaler.

Some of the rest of the magazine is also very interesting with the ads from that time.

I hope the text will be readable as it references some of the local fisherman from that time.

This is my uncle Jerry. A note about this photo is that he caught some fish but did not get a big one. This fish was rented. They went to a local bait store and they had a drum that was just caught and was being kept in their freezer. The fish in the photo is frozen.
