A Reproduction

My ancestors made furniture on Long Island NY, East Hampton, in the 17 to 18 hundreds. Someone wrote a book (With Hammer in Hand) about them and the DuPont's put there shop and some of the furniture in an exhibit in Delaware. I copied one of their tea tables as best I could from the book, #248.

It is mahogany finished with stain, oil, poly and wax.

Incredible work! Love the grain pattern on the top. I also like the oil, poly, wax combo for finishing.
