So few games that matter the first few weeks.

I mean look at the games this weekend.

Michigan Wisconsin
Notre Dame Georgia
Tennessee Florida (Usually a great game)
Auburn Texas A&M

Top games this weekend, and each week they get better.

I don't agree. My team (UNC) has played 3 good teams and came out 2-1 (we were robbed in the last one; the conference admitted the mistake). I'd also say the many upsets last week don't agree. Also, Army almost beating Michigan (OT, really big blue?) and Arizona St beating Michigan St. Ummm.

If you haven't been watching until now, you've missed a lot. I'm not even a college football fan, but you can't be serious with not worth mentioning stuff.

Yes J4YDubs, you are right. I shouldn't have said the previous games weren't worth mentioning. Some were really good and some (like the disasterous Army-Michigan game) were terrible. I guess I just wanted to start a football post, but got going 4 weeks late!! Don't want to start a fight here just talk about the games. Hopefully Michigan can be better this weekend against Wisconsin. Also the Mich State-N Mex game was awful.....(see why I didn't mention previous games!!)

No worries. It feels weird to even say this because we haven't even had any hope of a good football team lately, but that seems to have changed this year (Mack is back!). Go Heels!

Army took Oklahoma to OT last year as well. Oklahoma played in the National Semi Final game. You are wrong to down play Army as a Patsy.

I love college football. Michigan fan.

I am not looking forward to tomorrow. Army is no slouch, but Wisky is going to put us through our paces.

I have been annoyed at all the pre-season hype for Michigan this year. Yes I am a fan and always will be, but a real fan knows we are on the struggle bus.

Our offense has been a hot mess for YEARS, and we've had QB issues since Denard Robinson left. Not the best QB but he was a leader and could make it happen on the ground if nothing else. Gardener? Ugh. Ruddock actually developed and played well, too bad he was a 5th yr. senior. O'Korn? Oh god. Speight? Not cut out for BG10 play. Patterson could be great, but I'm sick of waiting. He has the arm and some speed, but panics in the pocket. ( I guess in his defense since he has zip for pass protection I'd be scared too.) His accuracy needs work. So frustrating to see him over/under throw, and I want to personally rub something sticky on his hands because his ball security...???....well he has none. Our savior Gattison? I actually feel bad for him. He may have came from 'Bama but he wasnt their play-caller and he probably has ulcers from the pressure. We havent had a stand out TE since Jake Butt, and to top it off Peoples-Jones may still be out.

Dont get me started on special teams. Defense is a rebuild, but Don Brown is a beast so that will come together.

Lord. I am so stressed over this season.

I rambled a bit...but you may not have read past the 1st line. Never said I was excited, and like every other Michigan fan, knew what was coming. Its not going to get better either.

Sorry Nikki. That wasn't directed at just you, but all Mich fans which there a few on here. I did read the rest of you post and was very impressed. Almost asked you to marry me. It would never work though, at least during Basketball season.

Oh you're fine. I wasnt excited before and def not excited now. Harbaugh is making Downy commericials. I mean, its important those khakis stay wrinkle free. Thats where we're at now. Best Pressed.

Don't want to talk about Michigan any more. Ugh. Just watched Appalachan State beat UNC!! Another upset. I remember when they beat Michigan in 2007. We were camping with no TV & were listening to that game on a "radio" (remember them) on the beach. We were completely stunned when App beat Mich. Never heard of App State. But how could they beat Michigan. Ruined our camping trip I can tell you that!! Haha.. I know who they are now....Boone, NC. Good team.

Yeah, UNC just doesn't play in the first half this year. Don't know why. Every single game has been comebacks in the 4th with time running out. 2 worked, 2 didn't. It's exhausting to watch. This team is miles better than last years team though. Injuries are starting to catch up with us now. We're not a deep team.

Julia. .. I was at work the day App State thrashed us and was listening on Sirius too..no visual. I was so mad and upset until I got home late that night and saw the recap on ESPN. When I saw how happy those App State kids were...man..I was actually happy for them. I wished it wasnt MY team they beat, lol, but their joy reminded me why I love college ball. Anything can happen!

Yes nickiI kind of felt the same way because they were SO thrilled to have won. Too bad they had to beat Mich though to get the thrill !!

Well, UNC plays Clemson Saturday and is an almost 30 point underdog. Hopefully we can prove that wrong. Gotta play 4 quarters though instead of just the 4th.
