Can you drive to Hatteras Inlet and fish?

Yoo can still drive down Pole road to the very end to get to the ever changing inlet, but no beach driving and only parking for 2-3 vehicles. Before you get to the end of Pole road, there is an ocean side access road, but again only parking for a few vehicles.

yes but suggest you use the area the construction crews used to lay the powerline that are about 100 feet back on the road and walk up. We were down 2 weeks ago and someone decided the middle of the trail would be a great place to park their Jeep and go take pictures Last I saw was 2 guys put it in neutral and pushed it into the bushes so people could leave.
