The reason I was told is they needed more time to sanitize the rental So I feel good about that. and I was told as they do all the cleaning on Saturday We can check in at 8 am the next day Since the house is rented by the night we only pay for 6 days so it's not a rip off .

Good for them , It makes us feel safer.

So, instead of a Saturday evening check-in it's now Sunday at 8AM? And check out the following Saturday at 10AM? And they aren't offering credit for the lost night? Do I understand it correctly? If so, you are being incredibly understanding...

As I said they were charging by the night,

but What I found pleasing that they have plenty of time to do a thorough cleaning that's important to us and worth 1 day less to have that safe feeling in this day and age

House . going through a rental co like VRBO or Airbnb They are listed at a daily rate and many places let you rent whatever days you want that are open.

Do your homework sometime they have multiple listings . If you see that the house you are looking at is managed by a rental co. instead of an individual check their site too I found a significant difference in pricing ,

We love those sites we rent from Outer banks to Canada. A lot of places are cheaper than a hotel and you get a lot more room
