I just finished a quilt for my niece made from her favorite Brew-Thru t-shirts over the years. The small squares are from the front pockets and the large back designs made the big squares. I finished it off with coordinating fabrics of blue and green waves and bright green polar fleece on the back for a perfect beach blanket.

My mom has made some OBX quilts for me as well.

And my favorite quilt wall hanging she made. I love sea turtles and I am always receiving sea turtle gifts of all sorts from my family.

Beautiful work, all of them. I love the idea of using t-shirts. I've got so many UNC t-shirts, I could easily have one made. Hmmm, wonder if my wife could do it. No way I can.
