My daughter is getting married later this month and I wanted to make something for her. She mentioned that she wanted a wine cabinet and her fiancée is into whiskeys. So I made a cabinet that works for both.

The wood is Cherry. The finish is 2 coats of danish oil, 3 coats of sprayed semigloss polyurethane and 2 coats hand rubbed furniture wax. The weight is heavy, 2 people could just about pick it up. If I were to do it again I would make the wine storage area so it weights less, that is where most of the weight is. But on the other hand, a small child is not going to tip it over. Good eye, it is 57.25" tall more or less as it has adjustable felt feet under each leg.
