For the last several years, my small town has gone all out for the Christmas light display in our park. It looks like something from.a Hallmark movie. They have fundraisers through the year and workshops to make the "bulbs" that hang in the trees and other displays. There is a "tree walk", which is all 4 sidewalks leading to the center of the park; different groups or families sponsor a tree and decorate it in memory of someone, just for fun, however they want. That didn't happen this year. The lighting is usually a huge event with live music, hundreds of people, a festive atmosphere and even fireworks, but of course, this year was different. Last night was the first night the lights were on, but the official lighting was virtual.
If anyone is interested (or bored?), or maybe you just love Christmas lights, here is a link to the professional video that was done.

The first part is a lot of history of how this came to be, interviews, etc. The lights are turned on around 32 minutes, if you just want to skip ahead to that, but you can actually see the displays at ground level.
If you would like to see the lights but skip the rest, someone posted a video shot from a drone after the lights are on:Click to follow link...
Thanks for checking out our town's hard work! This really is a community project, and people drive a long way to see it.
