Warner Bros. Entire 2021 Film Slate on HBO Max

I'm really stoked for this one and hope it becomes the new normal.

Warner Bros. will release their 2021 new films on HBO Max at the same time as the theater release. This includes "Wonder Women 1984", “The Matrix 4,” Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” remake, and a bunch of others (see link).

I haven't been to a movie theater in at least 12 years (probably longer). I used to love going, but then the crowds became rude and annoying and I don't handle that well (I'm the one who will yell and threaten someone for just using a cell phone or constantly talking). It wasn't fun, so I removed myself from that environment.

Instead, I built a home theater in my basement. It's gone through a couple of upgrades and is currently a 120" screen with 4K JVC projector and 7.2 surround sound. It also has a vintage looking hot oil popcorn maker. Grab some popcorn (don't forget the artificial butter), turn down the lights, recline, start a movie and, IMHO, the experience is so much better than a movie theater. It's also great for watching sports.

The one downside was I had to wait for the films to be released on disc (or streaming). This was usually around 3 months or more after the theater release. Now I can watch these movies when they are released! I'm sure the streaming will be a little bit of a downgrade, but I'm OK with that. It's getting better as time goes by.

Forgot to add, if you have a AT&T Unlimited Wireless plan, check to see if HBO Max is included. It's included in our plan, so I don't need to pay for another streaming service!

I have AT&T also and haven't paid for HBO Max ever. It is a great streaming platform, just need to get it on Roku
