Let's See Your Beach Buggy

Here is mine:

2004 Nissan Xterra
All Recovery equipment roof mounted, I have a box on the roof that also carries my tow ropes shovel etc.
Side Tent for fishing on hot days.
5 Rod Mounted on the inside of the SUV
Need to build or buy Cargo Drawers to house all the fishing gear.

This vehicle is dedicated to beach driving and fishing and is not a grocery getter.

Take the hijack off the roof when you are not going out and have a chance to use it. It will leech as it rusts and eat the paint right off the side of your x-terra

Ironman 4x4. Make sure you anchor the poles down solid. It is great on a hot day, but the wind under it will make it fly pretty fast. I use 5 gallon paint buckets filled with sand to keep them anchored. Just empty the sand and throw them in the back when done.

Takes just 5 minutes to get it all set up

It's not a dedicated beach cruiser, but I love my truck! 2012.

Possibly the best running and riding suburban ( our 5th) that we have ever owned.

Here are our two beach vehicles. The Yukon is back in Florida for use down here this winter and the Blazer stays in Frisco full time. We have owned Blazers since the late 70's for the beach. Since the late 80's, daily drivers were Suburban's but the last 20 years it has been Yukon Denali XL's always 4wd.

Changed out the Wheels and Tires.

Went with a wider tire than I had before (Falkken WildPeak A/T Tire) Gets a great review for Sand Driving. Also added Black Rhino Wheels.

How's the road road noise? I currently have Cooper Discoverer AT3's on the Jeep and really like them (previously had Terra Grapplers G2's, but thought they wore to fast), but I'm always on the lookout for good tires.
