Is this not Pearl Harbor Day?

Very odd, just have not seen much on the news, or with programming this evening on such an important day. I usually am able to find documentaries or historic footage of the events. Hope this is just something with Dish Network, but who knows?

Sad.

I saw a lot about it on Facebook, and it was on the network news. I didn't look for documentaries or anything though. I wonder if PBS had anything on.

I saw a lot of documentaries and movies over the weekend. History Channel of course with most of it.

Sadly, yesterday I saw very few US flags flying at half-staff. What's up with this? Is WWII being forgotten?

The orders were given, any government buildings should have been at half mast.

I noticed that even last year there was not the coverage the same as in prior years. Fewer documentaries and movies.
Tora Tora Tora and Midway were usually on more than one channel

It sounds to me like everybody was watching reruns of the Andy Griffith show.

And on a more serious note it did seem that there were few Pearl Harbor memorials or mentions.

Being erased, as is much of our great history.

People are a little strange when it comes to numbers. We put more importance on numbers that end in 0 or 5 for some reason. This year was 79. I've always hated that, but I'm betting you'll see more next year for the 80th.

I did see a few shows on TV, but it did seem less than usual.

The park was closed to the public due to the Woo Fru and the ceremony was live streamed. MSM was not interested.
