Why is the playbook from all these Democrat Governors the same. Can't go out at night. Kill small business. Keep everyone apart and masked? Enough already. Do we not live in a free country anymore? That was a rhetorical question.

"Cooper said the state will do more if trends don’t improve. That could mean additional actions involving indoor restaurant dining, entertainment facilities or retail capacity.

“None of us want that,” Cooper said."

That's exactly what they want.
Remember "follow the science"? They are; political science.
Cooper is a useful idiot.

Most of the Governors (and all the other government agencys) in this country are now in CYA mode. They are throwing out all these "orders" to cover their but and look like they're doing "good".

Well sum bish, now I know why I haven't caught it. I'm in bed from 10pm to 5am everyday. Early to bed, early to rise...

Our forefathers would have been shooting by now. Imagine a sheriff walking into a saloon on Friday and sayin 'y'all best be closed by 9'. There'd be a Help Wanted sign on the sheriff's office come Saturday morning.

And we are suppose to listen to these idiots. Well guess what, 1 of the idiots, here in Pa, that we are suppose to listen to, has covid. Keep up the good work Governor Wolfe.

Here in the people’s republic of NJ, comrade murphy has permanently destroyed 31% of small businesses over the last 9 months. His big corporate buddies are feasting on their carcasses.
Oh well, who needs the free market anyway???

Gov'nuh Blackface Baby Killer (aka, Northam) of Virginia is trying to figure out what actions he will take to out-do Cooper. And, as usual, he will announce it on a Friday so it misses the weekly news cycle. He doesn't have a plan (just like Cooper), just waits for "The Party" to tell him what to do.
Ignore the dotards.

Since half of trumps family has had Covid-19, 100 plus Secret service members were infected(from where), many WH staffers were infected(from where) rudy has Covid, I could go on, but I am sure you will get the picture, now what were you saying about the Pa. Governor.
Are you a bit short sighted?

Who could have did something in Feb.Mar. April, May, June, July, Aug. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec, of 2020, but did not do anything , 'Puff , like magic, it will disappear'.

UK's "The Imperial College study" prediction, 3/16/20 said

"In total, in an unmitigated epidemic, we would predict approximately 510,000 deaths in GB and 2.2 million in the US, not accounting for the potential negative effects of health systems being overwhelmed on mortality."

Your president did something, and saved 2 million lives.

Are you a bit of a liar?

Trump did try to close the borders in Feb, but the dems called him a racist. And by the way, now the idiotic governor in Pa tested negative. Puff, gone in one day. Can you say political grandstanding or are you a bit shortsighted to understand this. Sad smiley

Re WH infections...folks will say "oh, he was 91", and, yes, now retired, but still....Wilson Jerman was a lovely person.

+300k gone...regardless of your political affiliation, just distance, wash your hands and wear the damn mask.

Looking at the graph, we have been on a steady upwards trend of total deaths since Obama's first and second term. The current trend, although still positive, shows a downturn in rate of change.

No mask indicated or required. Just common sense.

Totally agree on common sense; re masking, would respectfully suggest that your MD governor has a different message ;)

Just , when one can't distance, wear one for the other "guy" ....simple consideration for one's fellow man....easy peasy! smiley

Do as you wish and I will too - it's a free country, at least for now. I have little respect for the governor, he's proven to be just another politician in it for his own gains. He bought 500k faulty wu froo test kits from Korea, which just so happens to be where his wife's family lives. Just a coinky-dink, right? Sure it was. Then tried to blame the POTUS for it too. Hogan is not to be trusted.

It's not what they say, it's what they do that gets my attention. So just like Thanksgiving for us, Christmas too will go on as usual - starting this weekend. Fun, family and friends. We're going to party like a politician!

Hey, it's the "politics" section, so... what the heck....I would take it that your view on masking or no is that doing so (masking in public when one cannot distance or requested by a place of business) is an infringement on your rights? May I go so far as to position your stand also as a political statement?

If so, that's where you and I, both registered Republicans (I am assuming on your part), sadly differ. I see it as simple respect for my fellow man; it's not about "me".

Looking at it any other way just "don't make no sense" to me.
