Have gas for the snow blower. Haven't put the plow or chains on the tractor.

Haven;t used the tractor for snow the past few years. I can put the plow and chains on pretty easily, if needed.

Looking forward to it. I'll be sitting on the porch with a Jameson enjoying it. I'll probably shovel but I might let the neighborhood kids make a few bucks.

Latest reports still have us on that 6-12 to 12+ line. Doesn't look to be changing much like they normally do. Gonna pull the generator out of the shed just in case.

Not looking too bad in the Pittsburgh area. I did get out the snow blower just in case.

This is looking like a lot fun... Once I see a single snow flake (yeah, yeah, I know the jokes write themselves) I'm heading home from work. Getting from the city to the burbs is fun enough. Don't want to be doing it in the first snow in a while. People seem to completely forget how to drive.

They will be real snowflakes, and I shall leave it at that.

Our expected accumulation has been lowered from up to 24” to 12-15”, from Wednesday through Thursday. Either prediction will keep me in where it’s warm and cozy. At some points it may fall at 3-5” an hour. Note to self: remember to fill bird feeders.

I am living vicariously through you guys. Originally from VA and now in NC I haven't experienced many big snow storms. I recall one year we ended up with ~20" I think, but from two storms back to back that were a few days apart. Besides that I can probably count on one hand how many 10" snows I've seen. I wish for the big one every year, but it would devastate this area for a few days.

I'll try to post pictures tomorrow. Still hopeful it will be a dud.

I flew out of ABE a lot when we lived in NJ. Great little airport. Much better than using NWK for me.

Probably 8-12 on the ground now and looks like its not letting up, the lab is laying in the sun room watching it snow, If he goes out it is not too long and comes in looking like a Dalmatian. Time to put another log on the fire maybe a Guinness is in order.

I'd guess we're up to around 5" now. Probably gonna easily beat that 12" prediction. ::sigh:: On a positive note, this is Coby's (puppy we got last year) first big snow. He's not sure what to think about it. I threw him some snowballs, but he can't figure out why they keep disappearing.
