Jay, the Guinness on tap is the way to go, but the caned version will work, many years ago was in Ireland for a port call all but too short, Guinness and the pub brewed cider was awesome, we got too tossing darts eventually the pub master took the darts from us, said we were getting dangerous he was very decent about it. That was a very good time. Use a pilsner glass for the half and half the other thing is if you never had a room temp Guinness give it a go. In Germany also all brews are served room temp. at least when I was there.
