I was just shocked that a publication like the NY Times would publish an article as insane as this.

And as the wool is now being pulled back, many more eyes now see. We've been pitted against one another. It's not democrat vs republican like the controlled media propaganda is pushing. It's aristocrat vs proletariat. United we stand and divided we fall. Our forefathers knew all about this strategy of the aristocrats to gain and hold power, hence the US Constitution was drafted. The forefathers weren't geniuses, they got educated in Europe before coming to America and learned how to fight against it. I hope we win peacefully before January 20th arrives in three weeks.

Because the covid relief was a 900 billion dollar bill attached to the the usual government funding bill, for about 1.4 trillion. That 1.4 trillion includes lots of aid to foreign countries, and is par for the course. It’s been like that for a while, since before Bush jr.

But Trump doesn’t seem to understand that those two bills are separate and were included as one whole package in order to get it through the partisanship in Congress. Both the house and the senate.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with Trump. People need at least 2000$ stimulus checks, but the republicans in the US senate don’t want to spend that kind of money.

What happens next? Who knows.

Edit: just to clarify the covid relief and government funding is in the range of 2.3 trillion dollars, when combined.

And furthermore, if Trump vetoes the bill and there isn’t the will in Congress to over turn his veto, does that mean warp speed comes to a halt?

If the distribution of the second round of vaccinations comes to a halt, then we have a massive problem on our hands.

All those folks who got the first round of vaccines could potentially not get the second round when it’s time due to disruptions in the federal supply chain.

Not to mention the government shutdown that would also trigger.

Government won't work if the government refuses to work.

McConnel knew what was in the Queen's bill, so that's why he claimed it DOA. But besides blaming Pelosi or McConnel, this crap about loading bills with pork, under the guise of averting a government shut down has to stop. Maybe next year the House could actually put out a budget.
I read that this current Omnibus bill would cost each person in the US over $8,000.00. Maybe they should ask all of us if we have the money, and want to spend it, before we start funding pork projects and other countries.
