Definitely gotta go Duke's. I'm not really a mayo person, but Duke's is a cut above the rest. Miracle whip, now that will cause some "discussion"

I was always a Hellmann's guy until I read a thread here many, many years ago about Duke's. I gave it a try and became a convert. Each visit to the Outer Banks i came home with numerous jars of Duke's that got me through a couple of months, then had to go back to Hellmann's. Yes, I could get on Amazon but I wasn't paying that crazy price.

Anyway, a couple of years ago i was in my local Lidl and saw the below.. Great price with excellent "best buy" dates. Now have supply all year long.

if you have Lidl stores near you check there. That is where i get my Duke's. Amazon prices are crazy.

OK, sorry didn't mean to add to the hijack. Anyway, what about it? They do good stuff as well as destructive stuff. I have visited many BLM sites in the southwest and glad they we own them and BLM manage them. Their conservation/recreation/protection of historic, natural and cultural stuff is great but their energy development policies are not always good For example, the move to reduce the size of the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument is crazy. i would like to see some of the BLM lands moved to the National Park Service control or be added to their National Conservation Land sub category of programs.

Robert, I hunt the western states especially Wyoming there are a lot of BLM land in the area I hunt but it is land locked bye other ranches no access. Some of the ranches will allow you to cross there land to gain access to the BLM land but be ready to pay a trespass fee. The other situation you will run into is a rancher who will post the BLM land you best have a good topo map or one of the digital mapping devices on your phone to verify where you are at. Yes there is a lot of BLM land but not all of it is usable for recreational activities.

I was started off on the wrong foot with mayo. To me, Miracle Whip was mayo until I was well into my teens. I blame my mother for that lol. Now I buy Hellman's and based on the praise Duke's has received here I'm on my second tub of it. This might be blasphemous, but... I don't see the hype. It's good, but I can't tell a difference between it and Hellmans with the amount I put on sandwiches. I'll give it a good sampling next summer when tomatoes are in season.

One of my friends owns a very popular barbeque/catering restaurant in central Virginia. All of his salads are made in-house, i.e. chicken salad, tuna salad, potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw. He will not use any mayo other than Duke's.
