I saw a bald eagle two miles from our house here in MA. I e-mailed a neighbor on the town conservation commission. She said they have been in her backyard. Head of conservation commission replied that there are a lot in town now. Great to see.

I have a broad-winged hawk in my yard. Wants the voles. Please take them, as they have destroyed the lawn twice over the winter.

Get a Jack Russell Terrier. My girl dug up 8 one summer. No problems now.

Our neighbor's cat Tinkabell used to spend time in our yard. Sadly, she's passed.

Early birds were sweetly mating in the nest area again first thing this morning

Both just hanging out on branches now if anyone wants to take a look.

It's been a peaceful looking morning at the Arboretum with the snow falling. Both MrP and TFL have been within cam view most of the morning. MrP is working on the nest now and TFL resting in nearby tree.

Has anybody been following this nest. Apparently there’s a new Mrs. , known as V5? Whatever happened to TFL?

Yes judyk, the nest has been interesting. Visitor (aka V5) and Mr. P have been busy mating for sure. I haven't seen TFL for over a week when she stopped by the nest only quickly. Before that TFL seemed more than happy mating with Mr. P. I was curious and read that although Bald Eagles mate for life when breeding attempts fail they may look for a new mate. I'm still hoping for chicks this season and sure am shocked at the nest activity. V5 is a cute little young bird though.
