Well, that depends on which way you are traveling...I had just passed the post, and until then it was leaning right!

This is what Squid really meant to post...

I was thinking the piling represents the American people with the big bird of government on top craping on the people.

As a Captain, my experience tells me it doesn't matter which way a post is leaning, as long as you yield to avoid colliding with a stationary aid to navigation. Be it in use, or just in place.
I am in awe that somehow this post has turned political. I may have to flag my post down...(But that being said, the Common Loon Gavia immer, is a registered Democrat.)

Hmmm...never thought about that. The pic might be a bi-partisan composition.

I also thought it was a cormorant, Brought back memories of the fishing persons in S.E. Asia who plied their trade with those birds. But looks like it turned out to be a left leaning bird of a different feather. Any way nice picture.
