I think it was very apparent 30 days in to the "stop the spread" that it all was theater.

Masks are useless against a coronavirus., except N95s. It's always been medically, scientifically and commonsensically known. But at least the government is finally admitting the obvious. If you're vaccinated you don't have to worry.

You also don't have to worry if you're not in a high-risk category. The CDC and NIH are a total disgrace.

Why would I shed my envo and cloth when cases are amoung the top 5 in the country?

I want to get back to normal, but we aren’t there yet.

Because there will always be unvaccinated people. Did you get vaccinated as just an “extra layer of protection”? With a 99% chance of surviving the virus, and then the vaccine lessening the seriousness of the symptoms, someone that’s vaccinated really shouldn’t need the masks, right? And the unvaccinated people are willing to take the “risk” - and that decision shouldn’t affect the vaccinated at all because the vaccines work, right? Just my opinion....

I was wondering when you were going to chime in Ali. You should probably just stay home for the rest of your life all masked up. The world is a dangerous place! I still can't believe after all the info out there on the internet (real science, not just because someone says so) that fools like you believe a mask will stop a virus. You obviously never took Biology in school. Math either for that matter. Look up micron size and figure which one is larger, what the mask will stop and how big the virus is. Easy-peasy

Sad thing about this is 'ol Governor Cooper isn't going to just go along with the CDC or Xiden. He will keep us masked up until he gets his unscientific 65% vaccinated, which isn't going to happen. Still only 15 deaths in Dare County in almost a year and a half. How many of those were influenza deaths?
