Usually come down spring, fall and some winters for fishing. Bringing kids and grandkids for vacation end of July. If we get any surf fishing in what might we expect? From Avon south to Hatteras. Thanks for any info.

Yup Pomps, Mullet, Blues, Spanish, Flounder, etc Late july the water is near its warmest, and slows down a bit, nothing like fishing spring/fall, but still plenty of fish to catch!

Always had good fishing for blues in the surf, nothing huge but still a lot of fun.

Earlier the better.....especially for Pompano.......
