An activist author pushing his views hardly constitutes "my better," and it's doubtful anything will come from this article except perhaps increased sales of his book.

AC is a relatively new thing in the grand scheme, and the technology is not static. We can, and should, devise new ways to mitigate our impact. It will likely come in the form of innovation, invention and ever improving efficiency, vs abstaining from comfort in the interim. But that doesn't sell books.......

I’m glad you feel they aren’t your betters, Beech, but they feel that they are, which is the crux of my point.
The enviros are pushing these regressive plans “because we have to do something”, without care for the ramifications.
Their push for electric cars without a refueling infrastructure being in place being a prime example.
Believe me, I’m all for technological progress, but not via regressive and unreliable sources like wind and solar.
