I like the White Translucent PLA better. Interested to see what the bronze looks like.

Thanks, I like the white the best so far. The bronze should be interesting. Its 50% bronze powered and should look like a cast piece when its done. I just need to figure out how to finish it.

This one is going to be lighted from inside

Very cool !!, makes me want to run out and order a 3D printer lol but I don't think I could justify it sitting around for 1 or 2 projects a year. Out of curiosity what software or how do you create shapes aka project to print out to the printer. I know I would be interested in hearing more about the tools your using to create your projects. smiley

Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing how this latest one looks after its polished out.

I have a Creality CR 6 SE about $400..... Click to follow link...
I print mostly PLA filament which is a vegetable based plastic, it comes in hundreds of colors and is pretty inexpensive. Silk, matte, wood, metal effects. I use Tinkercad (online and free) Matter Control and Meshmixer, free download. Then finally Cura (free). Cura "Slices" your file, hundreds of settings and lots of great YT videos on it. Your sliced file is saved as a .GCODE file. This is what the printer reads to produce the print. Prints take a long time. The tall lighted piece is about 5x5x9 inches. It took 22 hours to print it using a .06mm nozzle (medium quality) You can go up to 1mm or down to as small as .02mm for detailed work. If I did it on .02 it would have taken about 4 days to print Lol

Their is a site called Thingiverse Click to follow link... They have almost 2.5 million files, you can search by name, date etc... They are free to download and use. Lots of neat stuff. I have a half dozen or so files I have uploaded for other people to use

Its very quiet, the only thing you can hear is the fan and that is very quiet.

I just designing and printing a new adapter for my Boost Fin (www.boostsurfing.com) I wasn't a big fan of the one that fits my SUP. The PETG I printed it with is probably strong enough, but I want something really strong so I will send it out to print in Glass Fill Nylon for $30

You might need to get a Ford Maverick, just so you can print accessories. Laughing smiley

I like where they are going with this tech!
