Radio Hatteras

I was shopping in Buxton this morning....of course thrifting since I'm always on the look out for treasures (and found some), but two shops I entered had Radio Hatteras playing and of course they are primo. One song that played while I was at the Hotline Thrift Shop was "My Pledge of Love." Kinda flew back in time to 1969 when I was 11 and absolutely knew every single word! Funny how music does that to you. I mean I was kinda jammin' whilst looking thru the tchatakis. Everyone in the shop my age....it was kinda packed...was doing the same. Man...I love that station. And then Bernadette came on next from The Four Tops. What a nice morning!

Oh my goodness! I haven't heard that song in I don't know how many years! As soon as I saw your post I started singing it, and I remembered the words too! Great memory! And I love Radio Hatteras. I loaded the app on my phone.

That is great, Miss Leslie! I kinda went nuts and have been playing it on Alexa a couple of times today!

Also....in the wonderful style of Carol with Radio hatteras, she quite often mentions the stars and night sky. I learned from her, there is a full moon on May 15/16 at 12:15 a.m. and it is called a flower moon. Also...it is a supermoon with a full lunar eclipse where the earth shadows the moon and as a result, the shadowing makes the moon look red!!! We have a telescope in our study in our Frisco home and plan to place it in our bump out on the second deck to view it tomorrow night and take pics for our granddaughter to view. The weather looks good for tomorrow so should be okay. First supermoon of 2022.

Check out the Hot Line up north of you as there seems to be more stuff in them. I donate a lot of good stuff to Goodwill in Southern Shores at rt 12.

Mad props to Radio Hatteras! I have it on my phone here in toothless Frederick. Also send them a few bucks when I can.

An employee at one of the donation places once told me the workers there get 1st pick of stuff they receive. I still donate knowing they can't take it all home.

Yep....I've heard that as well. Not right, but what can you do?! So glad that you donate, Tim! It really helps the poor and disabled.

We have found the best place for our telescope is on solid ground. The slightest vibration from the dogs or people in the house are amplified when viewing the stars and planets. The moon is not too bad because it is so close but Saturn looks like we're having an earthquake, lol.

Invest in these (link). They make a big difference when using my telescope.
