At my place in Carova Beach I have discovered the absolute best soundtrack for my rental clean-up/refresh duties....
[/QUOTE87 and still playing
Okay....so I'm going to be playing Mr. Alpert on my Alexa tonight while cooking. I remember my parents had that album and I always thought it had the coolest cover. They had tons of old albums and "records" and we played them all the time in the 60s as little kids.

I remember finding that album in the hi fi file and thinking I had stumbled on something I shouldn't have.
I still have the album. My parents liked him and tom Jones the Supremes etc etc. I actually love the Soundtrack to Dr Zhivago. My moms favorite movie.
Love it! Herb is on my playlist every time we have drinks on the deck on the weekends, along with everything from the Beatles to Glenn Miller, Bluegrass, Motown, Folk, The Rolling Stones, Little Richard, and so many others!
Memories! I had that album!
Still married to Lani Hall. A genuine powerhouse lead singer for the fabulous Brazil 66. Great 60's memories of that crew.
My parents had that album also. Memories ....Gotta add that to my Spotify playlist.
He has been a fav of mine forever but did you know that he is quite an artist (fine art)? We saw some big (and I mean big) metal sculptures outside the Wildlife Art Museum in Jackson Hole last year that he donated to the museum. I think they were about 10 feet tall! Amazing man!
